Cambridgeshire Digital Awards - Bridges Gets Gold!

Earlier this year we were nominated for 'best use of social media in business' in the Cambridgeshire Digital Awards.

We really enjoy using different social media platforms to get the word out about our food and services.  Thursday 21st November was the awards night, and we were up against some stiff competition. So we were absolutely thrilled when our names were announced. Bridges got gold!

Little old us, in a pretty corner of Cambridge. Who would have thought it! Thanks must go to the fantastic community of foodies on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram here in the east of England, who support us daily with their retweets and likes. And of course thanks to our marketing team, Karen and Mandy who have supported us for the last 19 months - how time flies!

To find out who all the other worthy winners are the full list is here http://cambsdigitalawards.co.uk/cda2015-winners-announced/. As you can see from the list of finalists we were in the company of some really big names, so to have the work of small independent business recognised was really special. Awards also went to Sookio, Catfish Web Design, Claireabellemakes and I Don't like Peas. Roll on 2016!

Here is a little about the Digital Awards.

"Established in 2013, the Digital Awards is a multi-county scheme looking to reward innovation and progressive thinking by businesses, individuals, events, charities or educational establishments. Our winners span several industries and range from individuals to national companies, but all have at the core of their entry a desire to use digital media as a means to achieve greater things for their business.

Our mission is not only to reward those businesses who have already taken significant strides forward, we’re also celebrating a huge pool of design and development ability and, most importantly, we’re showcasing what is possible for any business willing to take that step forward."
