Bridges Pumpkin Carving Competition 2016

Halloween will soon be here, and to mark this spooky time of year, we want you to show off your pumpkin carving skills.

Send us a photo of your fiendishly creative carving, and we will reward our top three with vouchers for a delicious Bridges lunch.

Using the hashtag #BridgesPumpkinCompetition, send us a photo of your creation via Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, or by good old email info@bridgescambridge.co.uk. Your pumpkin carving could be of a traditional Jack o' Lantern, a witches cat, some scary bats, or an image of your boss or head teacher. Yes, really scary stuff! You are only limited by your imagination, so go wild with your creation. We will share your images on our social media platforms.

Get your entries in by Wednesday 2nd November please, and we will announce the winners shortly afterwards.

The Prizes First Prize - Family lunch voucher (mains + sweet treat + drink for up to 4 people) 2 Runners-up - lunch for one (mains + sweet treat + drink)

Competitions and prize draws are available to UK residents only, aged 18 and over.
Prizes are non-transferable, non negotiable and no cash alternatives will be offered.
Bridges reserve the right to substitute a prize for one of equal value.

Independents Week 2016

To celebrate the range of independent businesses in Cambridge, the Cambridge BID are launching Independents Week 1st to 9th October.

They are running a photo competition, where you can win £100 to spend in your favourite indie outlet. Just imagine how many Bridges lunches and juices you could get!

To win, take a photo of your favourite indie, and post on Twitter using #CambsIndie2016.

We are offering a 10% discount for all new catering orders that week too, and lots of other businesses have some great discounts, as outlined here:

Celebrating The Diverse Indie Shops & Businesses In Cambridge

We have been trading as an independent cafe in Cambridge for nearly 20 years, and we love being part of the indie scene here. High streets up and down the country can become an array of big corporate names, and of course it's good to have a healthy mix of recognisable businesses and quirky one man bands. But we are very lucky in our corner of Cambridge, to be in a street full of indies. In Bridge St & Magdelene St, we have some super boutiques and shops, where you can find designer names, vinyl records, bespoke jewellery & accessories and select wines.
